A Baby Shower for Dana (and Ryan)

After weeks of planning, hours of making tissue paper flowers, brainstorming ideas for their gift registry, cooking, baking and baking SOME MORE… Barb and I, along with lots of family and friends, enjoyed an afternoon eating lunch and watching the “expectant parents” open piles of beautiful and useful baby gifts. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE!

The shower was held in Quakertown at a beautifully restored old train station…the perfect place for a party. I thought our decorations looked pretty nice, too! Hot pink and green…sprinkling can centerpieces, tissue paper flowers and pink and green kettle corn favors. So pretty!

And…of course, lots of sweets!

Chocolate covered strawberries, carrot cake cupcakes with cream cheese frosting, chocolate cupcakes with peanut butter frosting and baby feet lemon sugar cookies. Oh my!

  The party was lots of fun, but the real fun is yet to come. Just one month until my granddaughter arrives. I can hardly wait!
